Departuring from Rio, You will have a road trip that takes 2-3 hours before getting the ferry to Ilha Grande. There are two options to go  to Vila do Abraão, where we are located in Ilha Grande. The ferry leaves everyday at 08:00 am from the city of Mangaratiba and 3:30 pm from the city of Angra dos Reis (monday to friday) - 01:30 pm (saturday, sunday, holidays).

From the ferry wharf, go walking for about 1 kilometer. Go along the seafront promenade, Santanas Street and Getúlio Vargas Street which ends at  Canto Beach. keep walking on the beach. After Pousada do Canto, you find our gate.  GPS:  S 23º08.591' W 44º09.738'

Be aware that in Angra dos Reis, there are 3 different wharfs, where boats leave toward different villages in Ilha Grande. There are others options to crossing the sea than the ferry. So it not difficult mix it up, besides, You must pay attention to synchronize the time of travel. If you do not feel comfortable or safe to deal with these issues, you'd better rent a taxi, it's recommended and we can help you.
